Eligibility

The Competition is open to ensembles of all nationalities, whose members were born on or after May 18th, 1990.

Jury

New commissioned work for 3rd round of String Quartet

Prizes for both sections

1st Prize: 2,500,000 yen
2nd Prize: 1,200,000 yen
3rd Prize: 800,000 yen

The first-prize winners of each section will be invited to perform in a concert tour (called Grand-Prix Concerts). They will give about ten concerts to be held across Japan.

Financial Support

Travel and accommodation fees will be supported by the Organizer.

Application Fee

Ensembles applying for the Competition must pay 20,000 Japanese yen.
